Elementary School
John
obtained state funds to upgrade the HVAC system, to help pay
for the computer lab, and to buy land adjacent to the school
to improve the flow of traffic when parents pick up their
kids.

Shepherd College Library
As
Chair of the Higher Education Subcommittee, John was able
to help bring in $5.5 million to help expand the library,
tripling its size.

Shepherdstown Day Care Center
John
has obtained several hundred thousand dollars used to renovate
and expand this vital day care center.

New High School
Well, you'll have to use a bit of imagination. This is the
site near Charles Town where the second high school is being
built. John helped line up grants of $25 million for this
critical project. Our thanks to everyone who voted to approve
the school bond.
