Elementary School
John
obtained state funds to upgrade the HVAC system, to help pay
for the computer lab, and to buy land adjacent to the school
to improve the flow of traffic when parents pick up their
kids.

Shepherd College Library
As
Chair of the Higher Education Subcommittee, John was able
to help bring in $5.5 million to help expand the library,
tripling its size.

Shepherdstown Day Care Center
John
has obtained several hundred thousand dollars used to renovate
and expand this vital day care center.

Washington High School
This photo shows the early construction phase of Jefferson
County's second high school. The school is now built and in
full operation, with an enrollment of over 1000 students.
John helped line up grants of $25 million for this critical
project.
