9th Grade School Located next to Jefferson High School, this will become Jefferson County's fourth middle school when a second high school is built. John sponsored the legislation that ordered the School Building Authority to provide the funds used for this project.
	Harpers Ferry Middle School John obtained funding for an elevator in the 2002 Budget Digest.
Duffields Station John arranged for the appropriation of the entire amount to build this shelter on Flowing Springs Road, and to pave the parking lot. This site is used by hundreds of Jefferson County residents who ride the MARC trains to and from work.
	The Station at Shepherdstown John obtained the funding for the HVAC system, and for other aspects of the restoration and transformation of this historic structure into a popular community center.
